米国レーザー医学外科学会（ASLMS 2026）にて3演題口演発表、最優秀臨床研究・イノベーション賞受賞
Three Oral Presentations Accepted at ASLMS 2026; Recipient of the Best Overall Clinical Research and Innovation Abstract
2026年5月7-9、米国ジョージア州サバンナで開催された米国レーザー医学外科学会（ASLMS：American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery）
3演題が口演発表に採択され、発表させて頂きました。
そのうち1演題
「Non-thermal Pulsed 450-nm Blue-Light Whitening Shows Reproducible Fluorescence Changes in Enamel and Root Surfaces: A 21-Case Clinical Series」
が、臨床研究およびイノベーションの観点から優れた演題として、
「Dr. Richard E. Fitzpatrick Best Overall Clinical Research and Innovation Abstract」
に選出され、受賞講演の機会を賜りました。
本発表は、非熱的条件下におけるパルス450nm青色光照射後に、エナメル質および歯根面に認められた再石灰化様所見と蛍光変化を、21症例の臨床経過として検討したものです。
これらの知見は、継続してご来院くださった患者様方のご協力、日々の機器メンテナンス、機器特性への理解、患者様お一人おひとりの状態の継続的な評価、そして施術中の照射条件の慎重な制御の積み重ねによって得られたものです。
当院では、臨床歯科医師としての診療経験と、研究者としての視点を統合し、日々の診療で観察される現象を客観的に記録・検討しながら、安全性と有効性の両立を目指したホワイトニングを提供しております。
今回の受賞は、日常診療から得られた臨床的な観察と積み重ねが、国際学会において学術的価値および革新性を有するものとして評価された結果であり、大変光栄に存じます。
また、今回の学会発表スライドをもとに、講習資料として冊子化し、受講者の先生方へ進呈予定です。講習内容につきましては、改めてホームページのお知らせにてご案内申し上げます。
今後も患者様お一人おひとりの状態や反応を丁寧に観察し、臨床と研究の双方から知見を深めながら、日々の診療に還元してまいります。

From May 7–9, 2026, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) Annual Conference was held in Savannah, Georgia, USA.
Three presentations from our clinic were accepted for oral presentation at the conference.
Among them, the following presentation:
"Non-thermal Pulsed 450-nm Blue-Light Whitening Shows Reproducible Fluorescence Changes in Enamel and Root Surfaces: A 21-Case Clinical Series"
was selected as the recipient of the
"Dr. Richard E. Fitzpatrick Best Overall Clinical Research and Innovation Abstract,"
recognizing excellence in both clinical research and innovation, and I was honored to be invited to deliver the award lecture.
This presentation examined remineralization-like findings and fluorescence changes observed in enamel and root surfaces following non-thermal pulsed 450-nm blue-light irradiation through the clinical course of 21 cases.
These findings were made possible through the cooperation of patients who continued long-term follow-up care, ongoing device maintenance, a thorough understanding of device characteristics, continuous evaluation of individual patient conditions, and careful control of irradiation parameters during treatment.
At our clinic, we integrate clinical experience as a practicing dentist with a research-oriented perspective, objectively documenting and evaluating phenomena observed in daily practice while striving to balance safety and effectiveness in whitening treatment.
I am deeply honored that clinical observations accumulated through routine patient care were recognized internationally for their scientific value and innovative potential.
In addition, educational materials based on the presentations delivered at ASLMS 2026 are currently being prepared in booklet form and will be provided to participants of our training courses. Further information regarding upcoming educational programs will be announced separately on our website.
We remain committed to carefully observing patient responses, advancing knowledge through both clinical practice and research, and applying those insights to patient care.
